StrategemPulse Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 19, 2026 · Effective Date: October 19, 2026 · Terms of Service
Strategem LLC (“Strategem,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides StrategemPulse, a business-to-business construction-commodities intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when individuals access or use StrategemPulse, communicate with us, receive emails from us, or are provisioned as users by a customer organization.
This Privacy Policy applies to StrategemPulse and related customer support, email, account administration, billing, and product communications. It does not apply to third-party websites or services, or to customer systems, that we do not control. StrategemPulse is intended for business users in the United States; see Section 13.
1. Personal Information We Collect
The categories of personal information we collect depend on how you interact with StrategemPulse. The table below summarizes them, using the statutory categories in U.S. state privacy laws.
| Statutory category | Examples of what we collect |
|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, business email address, organization, and account ID. Sign-in codes are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form. |
| Customer records / commercial information | Subscription level, licenses, order, invoice, and payment status and history. We invoice customers and do not collect or store payment-card numbers. |
| Internet or network activity | Sign-in times; pages, categories, forecasts, and reports viewed; exports downloaded; dashboard, digest, and newsletter preferences; your IP address, which our hosting provider records in standard request logs and which we use to limit repeated sign-in attempts; and, when you send a support request, your IP address and browser type. |
| Professional or employment information | Your organization and your account role (for example, company administrator), provided by you or your administrator. |
| Communications content | Support messages, requests, and feedback you send us, and the questions you ask Cora (the StrategemPulse assistant) together with its answers. |
| Inferences / usage insights | Usage patterns and preferences used to operate and improve the Service. |
StrategemPulse also processes government, industry, market, and third-party data, pricing data, tariff materials, and other non-personal business information used to provide the platform. That market data is not personal information unless combined with identifiable user or account information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not submit it (see Section 5).
2. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you sign in, ask Cora a question, contact support, set digest or newsletter preferences, request information, or otherwise communicate with us.
- From your employer, customer organization, or company administrator when they set up or manage users.
- Automatically, as you use StrategemPulse, through your sign-in session and our own activity records.
- From service providers that support hosting, database operations, email delivery, billing and accounting, and security.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot StrategemPulse;
- authenticate users, send and verify sign-in codes, maintain sessions, administer accounts, and manage access;
- set up organizations, user roles, team users, subscriptions, and account status;
- deliver dashboards, charts, forecasts, market commentary, Cora answers, reports, exports, digests, newsletters, alerts, announcements, and support responses;
- analyze product usage, improve features, review the quality of Cora answers, prioritize roadmap decisions, and understand which information is useful to customers;
- manage invoicing, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, taxes, and billing support;
- send administrative, transactional, product, support, billing, security, digest, newsletter, and announcement communications;
- detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, legal claims, or violations of our terms; and
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, audit, regulatory, and contractual obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Cookies and Browser Storage
StrategemPulse sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in securely. They are strictly necessary, and the Service does not work without them. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools.
Your browser’s local storage keeps a few display preferences (such as the tariff categories and comparisons you selected) and your recent Cora conversation, so they survive page refreshes. The Cora conversation stays on your device for up to seven days and is cleared when you sign out. You can clear local storage at any time in your browser settings.
Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is generally nothing to opt out of through browser-based opt-out preference signals; where applicable law requires us to honor a recognized universal opt-out or Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as a valid request to the extent it applies. StrategemPulse does not respond to legacy “Do Not Track” signals.
5. Our Analysis, Cora, and Machine Learning
StrategemPulse forecasts, market views, and commentary are built on a methodology designed and overseen by Strategem’s construction and supply-chain professionals. To apply that methodology across thousands of data points, we use statistical and machine-learning models, some of which are run for us by third-party providers. These models work on market, industry, and news information, not on personal information.
Cora is the StrategemPulse assistant that answers questions about the information in the platform. To prepare an answer, your question and the recent turns of your conversation are processed by a model provider working on our behalf. We do not send your name, email address, or organization with it. We keep your questions and Cora’s answers with your account so our team can review the quality of the answers and improve the Service, and only authorized Strategem personnel can see them. We do not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.
Our model providers are engaged under terms intended to limit their use of what we send them to providing the service to us and, where the provider offers the option, to keep it out of the training of the provider’s own general-purpose models. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, health information, personal financial-account data, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information through Cora, support messages, or other free-text fields.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and processors that provide hosting, databases, infrastructure, email delivery, machine-learning models, billing and accounting, and security, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
- Your customer organization’s company administrators, who can see the users in their organization, when each user was last active, and each user’s activity and account-change history.
- Professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and consultants, under duties of confidentiality.
- Government authorities, courts, regulators, and law enforcement when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process or is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or legal interests.
- Parties to a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or diligence process.
- Third parties at your direction or with your consent.
WE DO NOT SELL PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND WE DO NOT SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR CROSS-CONTEXT BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING, AS THOSE TERMS ARE DEFINED UNDER APPLICABLE U.S. STATE PRIVACY LAWS.
7. Emails We Send
We email sign-in codes when you sign in. Depending on your subscription and settings, we may also send the StrategemBrief newsletter, a weekly forecast digest, tariff alerts, product announcements, and account or billing notices. Every StrategemBrief email includes a link to stop it, and you can turn it on or off on the Brief page. You can change the weekly digest under digest preferences. For any other email, write to strategempulsesupport@strategem.pro. Sign-in, security, billing, and account emails are part of the Service and continue while you have an account.
8. Retention
We keep account information, activity records, support messages, and Cora questions and answers while the account exists and after it is switched off, so access can be restored and account records stay complete, unless you or your organization ask us to delete them (see Section 10). Sign-in codes expire after 24 hours and cannot be reused. Billing, tax, and payment records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws (generally up to seven years). Backups are kept on a rolling basis and overwritten in the ordinary course.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including single-use sign-in codes stored in hashed form, limits on sign-in attempts, secure session cookies, one active device per account, access controls, encrypted connections, and an audit record of account changes. However, no website, application, database, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly at strategempulsesupport@strategem.pro.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of personal information; to opt out of certain uses or disclosures; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to appeal a privacy decision.
To submit a privacy request, contact strategempulsesupport@strategem.pro. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If your account is controlled by your employer or customer organization, we may direct certain requests to that organization or coordinate with it as appropriate.
11. State Privacy Notices
California (CCPA/CPRA). If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights described in Section 10, including the rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. The categories of personal information we collect are listed in Section 1; we collect them for the business purposes in Section 3 and disclose them to the categories of recipients in Section 6. In the preceding twelve months, we have not sold personal information and have not shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit. You may exercise rights yourself or through an authorized agent, and you may appeal a denial by replying to our decision.
Texas (TDPSA). If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you rights to confirm whether we process your personal data; to access, correct, and delete it; to obtain a portable copy; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal data and do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. You may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision; if an appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.
Other U.S. States. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of certain processing of their personal data, and to appeal our decisions. We honor these rights as required by applicable law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact strategempulsesupport@strategem.pro.
12. Children
StrategemPulse is a business-to-business platform intended for adults and construction-industry professionals. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
13. International Users
StrategemPulse is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access StrategemPulse from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your location.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the platform, by email, or by other reasonable means. The updated policy applies to information collected after its effective date, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
